Nantucket Scrimshaw Basket

Small hand woven basket pendant with scrimshaw on top stamped “14k American Scrimshaw”. Original bail (yes, they used the premade bail on this fabulous handwoven pendant). Optional 14k yellow gold 18 inch cable link chain is terminated with a lobster claw clasp.

Basket is very good condition and 1 1/4 inches tall. Inside is written  “I’m a little nantucket basket handwoven and stout don’t lose me or abuse me and I’ll never wear out.” 

Gross weight of pendant only is 3.78 pennyweight.
